TWO shows at the Fringe – we spoil you, we really do.
It’s Edinburgh and August is looming, which can mean only one thing: Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and as usual Edinburgh Music Theatre will be part of it.
As with recent years we are treating our audiences to two shows: this year they are ‘Fringe Fantasmic’, and ‘Anthems – The Movie Musicals’. The first may appeal if you have Disney and younger musical-fans in your house, with songs from shows like The Muppets, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, High School Musical and many more, including some lesser-known but brilliant shows like Newsies and Aida. Our movie musicals show features songs from shows a little more grown up and which shone on the big screen, with some modern hits such Moulin Rouge, Hairspray, and The Bodyguard, as well as older classics like The Sound of Music and Anything Goes. There’ll be something for everyone.
As with previous years we’ll be running the two shows almost back-to-back and offering a special deal: see both shows together and you will be able to pay half price for the second show. It’s one of the best value evenings of entertainment on the Fringe. Keep an eye out here for tickets going on sale soon. This deal is not available via the Fringe box office.
So, look out for ticket sales here, and come and see us in August.
